MCC Control Station
Meet the MCC Control Station.
The building shown is a 8' Wide x 40' Long x 9'6" High cube shipping container with 3" insulation (R-18 rating) and 16 gauge steel sheet lined interior for the 40' length. The interior floor is covered with painted 1/8" diamond plate. The building includes a 3" insulated (R-18 rating) and 16 gauge steel sheet lined partition wall to separate each building into two (2) rooms.

The two (2) rooms serve as an office/instrumentation room which is 8' x 15' and an equipment room which is 8' x 25'. To connect the two (2) rooms to the outside, the building has two 3068 exterior doors, hinged on the left from the outside with lever set, panic bar, closer, 10" x 10" window and drip cap. To connect the rooms' interior the partition wall has one 3068 door with lever set, panic bar, closer, 10" x 10" window and drip cap. The building is supplied with a cargo door for the back only. One door is welded in place, once complete installation within the building is finished. Other sizes are available to meet your individual need.
The interior is painted with Anchor Safe-Guard 500 Series paint. The building exterior is painted with Wilko Paint Coating System No. 25. The building interior and exterior is painted per customer specifications and requirements.

A 2-ton capacity PTAC unit is framed and mounted in the office/instrumentation room wall. A 3-ton and 4-ton capacity PTAC unit is framed and mounted in the equipment room. The PTAC units will handle external heating and cooling loads superimposed on the building as well as internal heating loads created by the equipment.

Lighting connections are provided on the exterior. Lighting is provided for both the office/instrumentation room and the equipment room. Light switches will be provided for both rooms and exterior. Two 120 VAC receptacles will be available in the office/instrumentation room and equipment room.

The office houses a control panel, uninterruptible power supply, and industrial strength workbench type desk per customer specification and requirements. The equipment room houses MCCs with VFDs and motor starters, panel boards, transformers, etc. per customer specifications and requirements.

WSA is a full service control systems integrator and can equip these containers with any PLC and/or HMI to meet the needs of the project in question. Our programmers have years of experience and have worked with most major PLC/HMI programs.
